Library Services
For Community Members
Community members may use the Clark Memorial library building, library
resources, and a selected number of the library public computers
for research purposes. Resources include books, magazines,
journals, newspapers, videos, reference materials, Ebooks,
Ejournals, digital media, and
government documents

Access to electronic
databases and Microsoft OFFICE word processing and spreadsheet
software is provided on designated stations. Full access to the
WWW is not available on these work stations.

Access to the
Clark Memorial Library
catalog and web page and
OhioLINK catalog is
available.
- Librarians are
available at the reference/information counter (740.351.3321) to answer any
questions about the use of the library.
- Copiers are available at a cost of
10˘ per copy; color copies are 25˘.
- Printouts from public computers
are 10˘ and available for pickup at the Circulation Counter .

Borrowing
Privileges
- The Shawnee State University Library
is also pleased to extend library borrowing privileges to community
members in the local region. A $25.00 refundable deposit is required
to receive a Visiting Borrower card.
- Upon presentation of the borrower
card at the circulation counter,
SSU library items may be
checked out. There is a limit of 5 during the same loan period.
Five (5) additional items may be borrowed from
OhioLINK. The borrower
will be responsible for paying fines or replacement costs
associated with such loans.
- Books are checked out for 21 days
and Non-print items for 7 days.
- Items may be renewed once if no
other user has requested them. Renewals may be made on site, via
the library web page,

patron record, or by phone, 740.351-3519.
- Overdue items must be renewed,
returned or paid for before additional items may be borrowed.
- Magazines, journals, microfilm,
microfiche, and
reference books may be used in the Library.
