The Shawnee State University Library is pleased to extend library privileges to individuals affiliated with OhioLINK member libraries when visiting the Clark Memorial Library. SSU items may be borrowed upon presentation of current campus identification.

• All public citizens may use the Clark Memorial library building, library resources, and a selected number of the library public computers for research purposes. Resources include books, magazines, journals, newspapers, videos, reference materials, Ebooks, Ejournals, digital media and government documents.
• Access to electronic databases and Microsoft OFFICE word processing and spreadsheet software is also provided on designated stations.
• Access to the Clark Memorial Library catalog and web page and OhioLINK catalog is available.
• Remote access to OhioLINK databases should be requested from the user's home institution.
• Copiers are available at a cost of 10¢ per copy; color copies are 25¢.
• Printouts from public computers are 10¢ and available for pickup at the Circulation Counter .
• Librarians are available at the reference/information counter (740.351.3321) to answer any questions about the use of the library.
• Email and internet access to the World Wide Web is not available.

• Upon presentation of current campus identification at the circulation counter local SSU items may be checked-out.
• Books are checked out for 21 days.  Non-print items for 7 days.
• Items may be renewed if no other user has requested them  Renewals are requested through the patron's home campus library or "View Patron Record" on the home campus library web page.
• Magazines, microfilm, media, and reference books may be used in the Library.

• Thanks to the collaborative effort of Ohio's library networks (OhioLINK, OPLIN, and INFOhio) many research databases are available to all Ohio citizens from their home computers. Visit the Ohio Web Library (OWL) website to access these databases.
